Breakfast Club

The Rushy Risers’ Club has been running successfully since 2003.

The club runs in the morning from 7.30am until 8.30am; breakfast is served until 8.00am. Children must enter from the car park entrance, as the main gates in Rushy Meadow Lane and Fellows Road are not opened until 8.35am. The Club is supervised by Mrs Runacres and Mrs Cook who are well known to the children as they also work in school as a classroom assistant, midday supervisor and in the school office.

Rushy Risers’ Club serves a choice of Breakfasts and provides opportunities for children to participate in various activities such as craft, colouring and games. We offer cereal and milk, fruit juice plus toast or bread with jam, marmalade or marmite. Please indicate your child’s preferences on the application form you complete. (forms are available from the school office or you can download a copy here) Please ensure you state if your child has any allergies or special dietary requirements.

Each session costs £4.00 for the first child and £2.50 for each child thereafter. Payment is due on a half termly basis and there is no refund for sickness. If perhaps you work part time and do not require your child to attend every day of the week you may specify which days they will attend for example, Thursday and Friday each week. Space permitting we can also accept children on a ‘one off’ basis, if maybe you have an early morning appointment. Please enquire at the school office.

Please send in cash or cheques, payable to Rushy Risers’ Club, in a sealed envelope to Mrs Runacres or Mrs Coggins in the school office. Please do not mix payment for breakfast club with any other payments.

We look forward to welcoming more children to our Rushy Risers’ Club.

If you would like your child to attend Rushy Risers please download and complete the application form here or ask for a paper copy at the school office.
